  • Brevard Public Schools is looking for a Supervisor—HVAC/R Services. This is a management position responsible for assigning projects and tasks to control operators and field technicians to ensure a safe, comfortable and productive learning environment for our students, teachers, and staff. BPS has 82 school campuses and 40+ ancillary buildings totaling 12M square feet with an annual utility budget of $11.3M. All buildings are operated by building automation systems and monitored from our central BAS Center. Knowledge of Siemens, JCI and ALC control systems is required. Knowledge of chilled water and ice storage systems is required.   • Owen Betharte is looking for employment in the HVAC field, primarily a design and testing engineering position. Click here to view his resume. Mr. Betharte is also interested in Energy Auditing and building efficient energy practices and projects that achieve LEED certification and Net Zero Energy consumption. His graduate research has been in implementing energy saving measures to attain net zero energy buildings. Mr. Betharte is not looking for a sales position but is willing to support sales as an engineer. Mr. Betharte is willing to relocate for job positions outside of the Space Coast.
